Work With Me

Empowering Stories: Author, Speaker, and Advocate Here for You

Speaking

I share my messy, real story – Gold Star military widow, sister to a missing brother, mom to grieving kids, fiancé navigating love again – not because I have all the answers, but because we heal in the telling. Together, we discover that even in our darkest chapters, we’re never alone.

Workshops

I guide groups through finding and sharing the stories within them. We work together to uncover the narratives that need telling, because I’ve learned that our truest stories,  even the unpolished ones, have the power to set us free.

Story Coaching for Individuals

Shame kept me quiet for years. Now I walk alongside others ready to share their truth but unsure where to start. Whether you’re taking first steps or refining your voice, we’ll find your story together – messy parts and all.

Surviving

I share my journey of survival, searching to find light in the darkest times, and trying to make peace amidst the chaos of healing from trauma through laughter.

I aim to help others do the same, whether by helping them share their own stories or finding a connection that builds hope.

It’s rarely pretty, is as real as can be, and leaves a chair for anyone who needs it.

Survivor, Storyteller, Advocate, Coach

Sharing my story as a survivor to suicide loss, sister to a missing person, mom to grieving but living strong kids, finder of love again, and more to connect and help others. I share honestly about our chaotic life of fighting for healing, laughing through the good and the bad and taking it one day at a time.

Hoping to help those who can relate, advocate for change in mental health care in the military and veteran community, and advocate for fellow survivors of trauma and loss. I also offer storytelling coaching and workshops for those finding their voice, or for businesses and organizations who want to incorporate real stories into their work.

Memoir Sneak Peek!

Sign up for my e-mail newsletter to get the first sneak peek at my memoir being written now!

Sharing about the early days and still ongoing search for my missing brother, the traumatic loss of my husband to suicide and aftermath with our kids, and about the journey to find healing and love after all of it. It's not a story wrapped up with a happy ending, but a messy and honest look at the road I'm on and how the people around me keep me going.
